Would you Adam and Eve it,it appears that a certain bait company has been living on the moon for some while.After reading some ridiculous claims in the angling press concerning STEAMIES it seems that a certain bait manufacturer is laying claim to be the only company providing steamed baits and that they invented the steamie.The fact that we have been around longer and our steamies have been catching fish before there kettle experiments seems to have eluded them.We wont name the company but they seem to have borrowed our initials as well.

IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT ONE OF THE BIGGEST BAIT MAKERS IN THE UK IF NOT THE BIGGEST HAS APPROACHED ONE OF OUR ANGLERS AFTER A RECENT BIG FISH CAPTURE AND ASKED HIM IF HE WOULD REPORT IT BEING CAUGHT ON THERE BAIT, THEY OFFERED TO MAKE IT WORTH HIS WHILE. WE DO KNOW THAT THIS BEHAVIOUR IS COMMON PRACTICE IN THE BAIT INDUSTRY AND IN OUR BOOKS UNACCEPTABLE. | A superb hit from INNOVATE BAITS boss Steve Slater on a local big fish water,Steve had mirrors off 39lb4oz/30lb12oz/29lb4oz/23lb and a 21lb leather.
